You can adjust the Tick/sync rates in the 0.2.5 server, so who knows ;)

Noone never said that development ended. I knew all the time that its still continuing, if it wouldn't there would be news post or something else.

Andre9977 Escreveu: It is kind of obvious that person who has been to modding and writing SA-MP for years will continue doing it as long as there has been information released about the upcoming version already and community has big hopes.

And everyone should know that the development didn't 100% end, as Kyeman said himself after the incident where source code got leaked and 0.2.2 R3 got released - he did mention about future development also in the IRC channel.
